The latest essay from BigDistraction is available here for your viewing. This one is drifting off from my usual essay subjects. This one is about serialized television programming. Fun Fact: According to Wordpress, it was also the most popular of my posts on the site. (4x the usual amount of post views) Which makes me think someone was testing their ReloadEvery extension for FIrefox and my post just so happened to be the lab-rat.
This week I originally intended to do a Tech Review on headphones, I bought on Monday from play.com, but even being dispatched on Wednesday I still haven't received them. So instead, I'm writing about an incident which happened to me on Friday; When I explored the strange dark voodoo of Windows Fonts.
I've recently been looking at a variety of university courses and half of these are total bollocks; Here's a running commentary with them:
Here is one thing I have been thinking about lately, would heaven suck? Now I know most people would always consider heaven to be paradise but I've come to realise: Everything good is pretty much a sin; I'm talking about everything from sex for pleasure, to gambling, cursing, sleeping during the day/being lazy, raging at anything, eating sacred apples and even sodomizing your fellow prison inmate in the shower. Yep, everything is a sin.
Now for you people across the pond this wouldn't matter; but for people like me, this is bullshit. We have now entered the time where demon spawn has succesfully infiltrated the goverment under the guise "Time to change".
If you believed George Bush was a mega troll then David Cameron will take you to a whole new level; He's about 5 up from him with about as much popularity as Hitler had to Jewish people. One of his crazy troll idea's is to axe loads of public sector jobs and pay-freeze the people who's jobs are spared; what does this mean? Well lets examine what happened the last time Conservatives tried to destroy working class jobs:
And thats just the icing on the cake. He's also decided to join forces with Nick Clegg to create some kind of hybrid goverment in a tale of events which are re-counted here in the essay section.
Heres more of his crazy ideas:
- Tax poorer people more and give a tax relief to the very rich
- Re-legalize fox hunting
- Supporting the digital economy bill act
Sucks to be British.
